It has been running since 2001 and works alongside other agencies in East Belfast and across the city to provide a collective, coordinated service responding to social need and providing ways to bridge the divide between communities. History:

The Hub was created as part of a cooperative strategy between the Church of Ireland and Methodist Church in Belfast to assist with the redevelopment of the city centre, which had been damaged during the Troubles. The Hub sought to provide an ecumenical, faith-based presence that could bridge the divide between communities and provide spiritual support for those most in need. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Ireland.
