The pyramid is built on a low limestone outcropping at the southeast corner of Saqqara and is constructed of rough, weathered limestone blocks. The walls of the pyramid are composed of neatly finished stone blocks on the interior, whereas the exterior is marked by huge limestone blocks, each weighing up to several tons. Inside the structure, passages lead to an underground burial chamber, containing a simple limestone sarcophagus.
