an independent Pentecostal church, started by Rev. Jonathon Matibe and a group of believers in Bulawayo in1986 with only 15 members. Beliefs The Apostolic faith is based on the spiritual guidance and teachings of Jesus Christ (John 3:16) and was established to provide a place for true worship and to spread the Word of the Lord. The church stands for Christian values and standards, and it seeks to promote unity within the community and uphold a spirit of true holiness through the earnest practice of scripture-based principles. Services and Programmes As an independent Pentecostal church, the Apostolic Faith and Acts Church seeks to provide spiritual guidance and education in the form of services and programmes that promote a spirit of genuine love, faith and righteousness. These services and programmes are geared towards helping members to lead lives that are more closely aligned to their faith and God’s will. The church is known for its annual Easter revival, “The All Nations Spiritual Meeting”. 4. The church has over 10,000 members and a Sunday morning attendance of 1,500. 5. The church seeks to follow the teachings of the Bible as closely as possible and believes in the pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ. 6. The church is heavily involved in outreach and mission work both in Zimbabwe and worldwide. 7. The church provides services including marriage counseling, HIV/AIDS education, and skills training for the local community. 8. The church also runs a suburban school with over 1,000 students.
