History:

Subarnarekha Mandir is said to have been built by Raja Ratapore about three hundred years ago. The Subarnarekha Mandir complex is situated atop a hillock in Bankora village, a few kilometers off Purulia town in West Bengal, and is considered to be one of the important ancient buildings in the area. The temple was built in a typical Mughal architectural style, with red stone pillars and arches.
