The Templo de los Murciélagos (Temple of Bats) at Uxmal, Yucatan, Mexico is a temple dedicated to the ancient Mayan rain god, Chaachobeni. The main structure is located on the west side of the site and is a four-tier pyramid with a staircase that leads to the top. It was built around the 8th and 9th centuries and has many decorations featuring carvings of large bats, from which it takes its name.
