Saint Paul's Church Centre is a spiritual and community hub in the heart of London, located near Liverpool Street Station and directly opposite the Museum of London. The Church was built in 1875 and is home to a variety of activities and services which serve the congregation and wider community. History - In 1875 the site of the present church was granted to the Bishop of London, Dr John Taylor, who set out the scope and purpose of a new teaching and mission establishment to be known as 'The Mission to London's Country University'. The building was designed by the celebrated architect, George Gilbert Scott and the foundation stone of the church was laid in August of 1875. Facts - Over the years, Saint Paul’s Church Centre has grown and developed, providing a range of facilities and services that benefit the community. It is a busy and vibrant Church Centre, offering activities and services from weddings to Sunday School, a seasonal café, community events and much more. Services - The Church Centre offers a range of services for the local community, including Community Development, Spiritual Care, Children & Young People’s Ministry, Chaplaincy, Arts & Culture, Café & Catering, Worship & Groups and Music & Sound. These are all aimed at helping people of all ages and backgrounds to feel part of the community and to live out their faith.
