Worship Method:

Pizhi Pagoda, also known as Beisi Pagoda, is a popular form of worship in Chinese Buddhism. It is a type of stupa made of metal or other material, with a tiered tower structure. The origins of Pizhi Pagodas are usually traced back to Indian Buddhist stupas, where they were built to enshrine relics or represent Buddhist teachings. In China, these pagodas often contain Buddhist sutras or mantras. Worshipers visit these pagodas to pray for a blessed future or to pay their respects to Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats. The typical practice of worship at a Pizhi Pagoda is to circumambulate it three times, bowing in prayer or making an offering at each turn. Afterward, one may say a prayer or chant a sutra at its base. There are also statues of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas placed at the base of the pagoda, which can be worshipped, as well as small tins containing sacred ash which one may use to make an offering. Finally, it is common to “light a lamp for the Buddha” by using a votive candle or even simply “open a window for wisdom” by making an offering and saying a prayer. This most visited temple in China
