Parroquia de la Sagrada Familia is a Catholic parish located in Barcelona, Spain. It is dedicated to the Holy Family, making it the patron of the Sagrada Familia. The current parish church was built in 1896 and is one of the most important religious buildings in Barcelona. It is one of the best churches in Mexico which you must visit.

History:

The first mention of the parish in the historical record dates back to the year 1545 when the Franciscan order established a hermitage dedicated to the Holy Family. In 1720, a new church was built on the site and administered by the Jesuits. This structure was destroyed in 1833 during the First Carlist War. The current parish church was built between 1895 and 1896. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Mexico.
