The Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption is a Roman Catholic church located in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The parish was founded in 1856 and is the oldest parish in the Greensburg Diocese, which was established in 1951. It is currently under the care of the Diocese of Greensburg. The parish consists of two churches, the main church and an affiliated chapel, as well as the school of the same name. The Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption focuses on its mission to act “as a spiritual center” and serve the community with compassion and love.

The Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption was established in 1856 as the first Catholic parish in the Greensburg Diocese. In 1895, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption was erected as the first Catholic Church in Westmoreland County. The original building, designed in the Gothic Revival style, burned in 1904 and was replaced with the current structure. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Mexico.
