Ostankino Palace and Park is a large 18th-century Russian estate and park. It consists of a baroque palace complex, extensive parkland, former imperial aviary, anda “lower park” including the patron's pavilion and ponds. It is located in the Ostankinsky District of Moscow. History:

The house of the Counts Sheremetevs owned a small estate in Ostankino since the 17th century. It was bought by Peter the Great and given as a gift to his sister, Princess Natalya Petrovna of Toropets. It was rebuilt in the middle of the 18th century by Princess Natalya's son, Count Pyotr Borisovich Sheremetev. The palace was made out of the baroque style and was used as a summer residence for members of the Sheremetev family.
