Free Evangelical Church Frankfurt (FECF) is an interdenominational Christian church located in the city of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The church was founded in 1964 and is currently a member of the European Evangelical Alliance and the Ecumenical Council of Churches. History The Free Evangelical Church Frankfurt was founded in 1964 by a small group of Christians of various denominational backgrounds. Initially the services were held in the homes of members, with the first official service being held in 1966. The FECF quickly began to grow in size and moved its services to the Kreuzkirche, a local 19th-century church building, before eventually acquiring a permanent building of its own. Facts The church consists of over 300 members, representing a variety of nationalities, languages, and denominations. The majority of members are from Germany, though there are also members from other countries, including France, Romania, the United States and the United Kingdom. The FECF is a bilingual church, with services conducted in both German and English.
