The Coptic Museum in Cairo is one of the world’s prominent collections of Coptic art and culture. History:

The Coptic Museum was founded in 1908 by the French archaeologist and Coptologist, Marie-Joseph-Jules Nulli. The museum was built on the ruins of a fourth-century Christian palace, which was donated by the Abbasid Caliph, al-Kamil. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Egypt.

The museum publishes an annual catalogue of its collection and regularly hosts special exhibits, lectures, and educational and cultural activities.
