History:

is a cathedral church located in Yurimaguas, Peru. It was built in neoclassical style in the late 19th century and consecrated in 1904. The main entrance is on the north facade and is flanked by two small towers that support the balcony of the same facade. The interior has a Latin cross plan, with three naves divided by low arches that converge on the high altar throne. An important feature is that the whole plan of the building is dedicated to the old parish of San Isidro de Yurimaguas. In 1938, it was declared a heritage site by the Peruvian Ministry of Education. It is one of the best churches in Peru which you must visit.
