After the puja, devotees offer prayers to Lord Vishwanathar with full devotion. After the prayers, devotees circumambulate the temple, for a total of seven times. As a symbol of respect, devotees also perform pradakshina, a ritual in which they walk around the temple in a clockwise direction, with the deity at their center. They then seek his blessings and perform arati. Aarti is a ritual in which devotees wave a large lamp in front of the deity and make offerings of ghee, flowers, rice, and other items to him. Prasadam, a form of divine nectar, is then distributed among devotees. Before leaving the temple, devotees perform a prayer of thanksgiving for their visit and make other prayers and offerings.
