The present All Saints Church, Kandy, Sri Lanka, first opened for worship in 1848. It has been a place of devotion for generations of Anglicans of all ethnicity – Sinhalese, Tamil, and others. All Saints' Church had been part of the original Diocese of Colombo which was established in 1845, and later part of the Diocese of Ceylon, which was established in 1877. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Srilanka.

• All Saints’ Church is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kandy. • During World War II, the Church was used as a hospital three different times. • It was consecrated for worship by Archbishop Longley of Calcutta on 3rdJanuary 1849. • The church is made up of red bricks and features a large pipe organ which is still in use today.
