How to reach:
The Thanthontry Gnavairavar Temple can be reached by either car or public transportation. By Car: From Colombo or Negombo, take the Colombo-Puttalam Road. At Chilaw Junction, take the Chilaw-Mannar Road and proceed to Thenmarachchi. About 15 km from Kalpitiya there is a turnoff for the Kaithady Navatkuly South road. Take the Kaithady Navatkuly South road and the Temple is about 8 Km along this road. By Public Transportation: Take a bus from Colombo, Negombo, or Chilaw that goes to Thalawila. From Thalawila take the bus to Kalpitiya. From Kalpitiya there is a bus to Thenmarachchi. After disembarking at Thenmarachchi, take the short bus ride to Kaithady in Navatkuly South.
