The church’s doctrines are based on the Bible and its teachings are centred around the belief in the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Sri Lanka Baptist Church has a nationwide network of churches with several churches in each district. The Church also runs a number of charity organisations and social service projects, such as a centre for the rehabilitation of the poor and needy, a school for underprivileged children, and a hostel for people living in poverty.
