Narasimma Vairavar Temple in Pallai Nagar is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has weekly and monthly rituals that are performed by its priests to invoke the blessings of Lord Shiva. The priest first performs the Abhishekam (bathing ritual) to Shiva Lingam using sacred and blessed water. Then, all the devotees offer flowers, fruits, incense sticks, and camphor to Lord Shiva. After this the priest offers obeisance to Lord Shiva by performing Arati (lighting of lamps). Then Prasadam (holy food offerings) are distributed as offering to Lord Shiva. Next, Mantras and Stotras are prayed to invoke divine blessings of Lord Shiva.
