The Church of St. Francis Xavier in Slovakia is a Catholic Church located in Bratislava, Slovakia. The church is named after Jesuit saint Francis Xavier, who was largely responsible for propagating Roman Catholicism in most of Asia and Japan. The first structure dates back to 1895, when a wooden church was constructed but was unfortunately destroyed by a flood in 1918 and had to be reconstructed. The present church constructed in the Gothic Revival style and was completed by 1924. The church, a popular place of worship, can hold up to 500 people. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Slovakia.
