Singapore Conference Hall
Dewan Persidangan Singapura, also known as the Singapore Conference Hall, is a historic building located in Singapore's central business district. Architectural significance: Designed by the prominent architect Ng Keng Siang, the building is an excellent example of modernist architecture. Its unique design, which features a hyperbolic paraboloid roof, is one of the earliest examples of its kind in Southeast Asia.
The Dewan Persidangan Singapura was completed in 1965, just before Singapore gained independence from Malaysia. It served as the venue for many important events in the nation's history, including the signing of the Malaysia-Singapore Separation Agreement in 1965 and the inaugural Singapore Youth Festival in 1966.

The Dewan Persidangan Singapura is a symbol of Singapore's nation-building efforts. It was one of the first major public buildings built after the nation's independence and represents the country's determination to create a modern, progressive society.
