IBCD is a Southern Baptist Church and is an active member of the Conseil des Églises du Sénégal (CES). IBCD operates under the governance of the missions board and the leadership of a full-time local pastor. The church has an average attendance of about one hundred persons. Services are conducted in French with English translation for non-French speaking members. The members come from a broad range of countries and socio-economic backgrounds.
