The Église Assemblées de Dieu - Béthel de Dakar (Bethany Assembly of God Church in Dakar) is a Christian Pentecostal church located in the city of Dakar, Senegal. It is the headquarters of the Assemblies of God in West Africa, and the home of the first Pentecostal missionary couple to work in the region — American missionaries Mr.and Mrs. Harry O. Rowe, who arrived in Dakar in 1938. Today, Bethel is attended by more than 2,000 people every Sunday, in over nine services spread over four locations — the central church, Bethel Extension, Government Town and the Women's Room. Sunday school and other ministries cater to more than 5,000 people a week. The church is particularly known for its active evangelism, taking the gospel to the furthest villages in Senegal.
