As of 2019, the Pago Pago temple is the second temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located in Polynesia, following the Nuku'alofa Tonga Temple, which was dedicated in 1983. It has a total of 11,750 square feet with two ordinance rooms and two sealing rooms.
