It was built in 1804 in a neoclassical style and stands as one of the oldest churches in Bath. The Church has undertaken numerous renovations and extensions over the years and is still in use today as an active parish church. It is one of the best churches in England which you must visit.

History:

The church was initially built in 1804 to replace the St James's Church which was located nearby. Initially, the building was very small, consisting only of a nave, chancel and tower. Later, a north vestry and south transept were added, as well as a porticus with a porch and additional graveyard. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
