The Church was first built in 1293, and reconstructed in 1675 by Francesco Bianchi and later in 1800 by Giuseppe Velotti. The Church contains several works of art, including the Baroque painting of Saint Dorothea and the oil painting of the Immaculate Conception by Giovanni Antonio Cybei.
