Chiesa di Santa Paola Romana is a 14th century Roman Catholic church located in the Rione of Navona near the Pantheon in Rome, Italy. It was established by Pope Urban IV in 1261 to honor Saint Paula of Rome, a fourth century Roman martyr. Santa Paola is surrounded by the Palazzo di Giustizia and several other buildings. Its dome has been used as a reference point for navigation in the city for centuries. Inside Santa Paola Romana there is a wooden crucifix from the 14th century that is attributed to the renowned sculptor Arnolfo di Cambio. Pilgrims have been visiting the church since its foundation, particularly dedicated to Saint Paula. It is run by the Conventual Franciscan friars.
