The church was built in 1893 and is dedicated to Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, Thirteen Centuries of Romanians. The church was painted in 1922 by Gheorghe Tăttărăscu, a well known Romanian painter. The facade of the church is decorated with statues of Jesus, Saints, Angels and Mary and is surrounded by a fence with marble crosses. The interior is filled with icons painted by the painter Zaharia Anghel in 1949. The church is open to worshipers every day and services are attended by members of all religions.
