is a medieval monastery located in the Buzău County of Romania, built in the mid-14th century by Vlad III the Impaler, also known as Dracula. The name of the monastery, Negru Voda, translates as “black ruler” in English. This was Vlad III’s name as the ruler of Wallachia. It features a tall stalaktite ceiling and an outer base made of brickwork.
