Langaleswar Shiva Temple in Cuttack, Odisha, follows a unique form of Surya–Shaiva temple worship known as Pradakshina–Mara–anna system. The temple complex comprises an enclosed chamber with a Shiva Lingam in the centre. There is a large lotus pool (kunda) in front of the enclosed chamber, and two flagstaffs placed at the entrance. Devotees circumambulate the lotus pool as well as the deity in the inner chamber, thereby completing 8 rounds.
