The Bichitrapur Jagannath Temple is located in the village of Bichitrapur, Odisha. The temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, the deity which forms the core of Odia culture and worship. The daily worship at the temple involves various rituals conducted as per ancient scriptures and traditions. The daily rituals start with Suprabhat Seva or early morning greeting ceremony at 4 am. During this the devotees offer floral garlands, flowers, bela, sandalwood paste and incense to Lord Jagannath. The Mangal Arati or morning worship is conducted at 7.30 am and 6pm. During Mangal Arati, devotees sing bhajans and offer newedar bhog to Lord Jagannath. The Madhya Arati or afternoon worship is conducted at 12pm and devotees again offer newedar bhog to Lord Jagannath.
