St. Luke's Cathedral is an Anglican church located in the city of Exeter, Devon in England. It is constructed in two stages between 1170 and 1400, and is the longest medieval church built on the same plan in England. It is the seat of the Bishop of Exeter, the Diocese of Exeter, and the provincial seat of the Church of England in Devon. St. Luke's Cathedral is a Grade I listed building. It is one of the best churches in Nigeria which you must visit.

History:

The original St. Luke's Church was built by Bishop William Warelwast in 1112. The building was enlarged over time and eventually became a Cathedral in 1050. A major renovation took place in the 14th century, when the nave, chancel and transepts were all extended. The two towers were added in the 15th century. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Nigeria.
