Upon entering the temple, devotees must first cleanse themselves with two spoonfuls of water from the templ e-provided spouted vessels and then perform a small prayer chanting "Om Namo Venkatesaya" three times while bowing before the deity. Afterwards, devotees have to perform an aarti (worship by waving a symbol made of clay, dough and flowers) and offer multiple puja items such as havan samagri, flowers, incense, lamps, etc. to fulfill their religious obligations.
