ECWA Central Area, Abuja is the headquarters of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA). It is located in Area 11, Garki District of the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, Nigeria. The Central Area holds the offices of the national church head, the administrative staff and other related workers. History ECWA Central Area, Abuja was founded in 1971 by Reverend Joshua Marghuba Nuhu with the main location of church ministry being at Pagi Hills and Bwari towns of the Then Bwari Province, now FCT, Abuja. It was the only one of many ECWA branches in the country. It moved to the current premises in 1990, two years after the Federal Capital Territory was announced. Since then, it has grown to become a mega city of its own that resides within a metro area. Facts • The ECWA Central Area Campus is spread across 25 acres of land, with many different properties in place. • The campus includes a main church hall, a library building, an administrative office and staff quarters, classrooms, residential buildings, and of course, a chapel. • It has a population of over 30,000 people, making it one of the most populated and powerful churches in the Country. Services • The ECWA Central Area offers numerous services to its congregation and the public. These include spiritual care, evangelism, discipleship, laity development, pastoral training, leadership development, outreach and missions, and community outreach. • Not only does it provide spiritual guidance, but it also provides a variety of activities, such as prayer and fasting, town hall meetings, and social events for its people. • It also offers a range of services such as medical care, education, counselling and legal assistance.
