Catholic Men Organisation of Nigeria (CMO) is an apolitical movement of men who strive to promote good morals, values and spiritual growth in Nigeria. The Catholic Men Organisation was founded in 1966 by a group of Nigerian men of faith and has since grown significantly in size. The primary aim of the CMO is to promote adherence to the teachings of the Catholic Church, foster brotherhood and friendship among Catholics, promote the propagation of the Catholic faith, and foster the welfare of both society and its members. CMO has a wide range of activities and services. To promote adherence to the Catholic faith and values, they organize regular meetings, conferences and seminars. In addition, they organize social and charitable projects, such as hosting educational seminars, providing funds to families in need, providing financial and material assistance to parishes and sponsoring student educational scholarships. In addition, CMO has established numerous regional committees, whose members strive to promote the Catholic faith and values within their areas. CMO is open to any Nigerian male citizen of Catholic faith. Membership is voluntary and is open to any man who expresses interest in the movement and believes in its goal and mission.
