History:

Rameshwar Mandir is a temple situated in Lalitpur district of Nepal, located south of the Bagmati river. It is one of the most important Hindu temples in the region and a major pilgrimage site. Built in the 18th century, the temple is dedicated to Lord Rameshwar, also known as Lord Shiva. It is believed that the temple was built by an army of monkeys to commemorate Lord Rama's victory over Ravana.
