The worship method of Neel Barahi Temple varies depending on the day and is conducted three times a day Mankamana and Chandi. The first offering ceremony begins with the offering of flowers and red vermillion powder to Lord Neel Barahi upon arriving at the temple. Then, the worshippers will light double lamp with ghee and chant mantras in the main temple. After the mantra chanting, the devotees will offer harhbal (holy basil) to the deity. Then, the person performing puja will chant mantras of Lord Neel Barahi and offer nirgama rice, flowers and other offering. During propitiation, the worshipper will then perform an ‘arati’ (holy ritual) by offering butter lamps, flowers and vermillion.
