Worship Method:

The Karyabinayak Temple in Nepal is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is located in Thimi, a small town near Kathmandu. It is a popular pilgrimage site for thousands of Hindus each year, especially during the festivals of Bala Chaturdashi and Janai Purnima. Devotees to the temple observe traditional worship rituals such as offering flowers/incense/wine/rice, performing puja ceremonies, and listening to Krishan chants. A priest leads the puja, which typically lasts for 30 minutes to an hour. The priest sprinkles consecrated water from a pot called “jalabhishek” over the main deity of the temple, Lord Vishnu, and then around the temple. Incense sticks are lit and flowers are offered by devotees as a sign of their devotion to the deity. They then receive Prasad (sacred offering) from the priest in the form of fruits, sweets, coconuts, and flowers. Karyabinayak Temple is located in Bhaktapur district, Nepal. From Kathmandu The fastest and most convenient way to reach Karyabinayak Temple is to take a bus from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur. The fare is Rs.25-30 and the journey takes around 45 minutes. Once in Bhaktapur, you can hire a taxi or take a short walk to reach the temple. It takes around 15 minutes from the center of Bhaktapur. From Pokhara If you are coming from Pokhara, you can take a bus to Bhaktapur via Naubise or Mugling. The journey takes around 8 hours and the fare is around Rs.500.
