At Lagankhel, the traditional way of worshiping Batuk Bhairab (the Supreme Lord Shiva) involves chanting prayers and offering various sacrifices in accordance with Hindu traditions. Devotees offer their respect to the deity by offering incense and flowers, accompanied by coconuts. Prasad (offerings to the deity) such as sweets, rice, fruits and flowers, along with jyoti (lamps) are offered on a special day dedicated to the deity. A special murti (statue) of Lord Batuk Bhairab is also placed in the temple and devotees offer their prayers to the deity and seek his blessings.
