The Good News Church is an evangelical, non-denominational church founded in 1978 in San Francisco, California. It is known for its inspirational teaching, contemporary music, and emphasis on evangelism. The church has grown to become one of the largest and most influential churches in the San Francisco area, and its local congregation consists of more than 4,500 members. It is currently led by Senior Pastor Rich Nathan and Co-Pastors Scott Grigas and Chad Vader.

The Good News Church was founded in 1978 by Pastor Bill Hybels and his wife, Lynne Hybels. The original services were conducted in a Monterrey apartment, but the demand quickly grew and soon the meetings were moved to the Little Theatre at Monterrey Peninsula College in 1980. After a few more location changes and adjustments, the church found its permanent home in 1985 in the San Francisco Bay area. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Namibia.
