This Gurudwara is associated with the pilgrimage of Baba Balak Nath Ji. It is believed that Baba Balak Nath Ji used to take rest in a cave situated in the premises of this Gurudwara. Worship Method:

The worship method of the Gurudwara Shri Patal Puri Sahib in Kiratpur Sahib, Punjab is unique in that it follows many of the same traditions as Hindu practices. Upon entering the Gurudwara, worshippers are offered a traditional sweet called "Puri", light incense, and perform a prayer to Guru Nanak.
