It is believed that on December 20th, 1675 Guru Tegh Bahadurji with five of his Sikhs arrived here and stayed inside a dilapidated structure of a Mosque near a village pond called ‘Pugani’. Later, this structure was reconstructed and dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur and second generation of Sikhism, Guru Gobind Singh laid the foundation stone for the later Gurudwara. This Gurudwara offers the pilgrims with langar (free kitchen) services.
