The Gauri Shankar Temple in Himachal-Pradesh follows the Hindu faith and follows the traditional method of worship. In this temple, the main deities are the Lord Shiva and Parvati. Visitors have to offer prayers and poojas to both deities every day. People also offer flowers, fruits, sweets, coconut and incense during the pooja. During the Mahashivratri festival, special pooja and aarti are conducted every day. Various rituals, such as havan, reciting of mantras and chanting of namas are also performed.
