The worship of Laxmi Narayan Temple in Chamba is done according to the Vedic/Hindu tradition. It is believed that the temple was established during the reign of Raja Maru of Chamba in 900 A.D. The temple is open in the morning and evening for darshan and the pooja is conducted according to the Shastras. During the pooja (puja), devotees offer flowers, rice, and fruits.
