is When sixth sikh Guru - Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji visited village Tarn Taran in 1634 A.D., He built pond in the village and declared it as the site of the Gurdwara. After in 1737, a big sand stone sarovar-tank along 106 ft. long gaddi ( platform ) was constructed and a big Gurdwara building was erected. The Gurdwara is famous because of its Sarovar, which is believed to have healing powers and can cure many skin diseases. The Gurdwara is managed by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
