Worship Method:

Worship at Gurudwara Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji in Jalandhar follows the traditional practices for Sikh worship. Visitors will perform kirtan (Sikh devotional music and prayers) in the main hall, followed by a langar (communal meal) prepared by the salaamatiahs (volunteers). Afterward, they will take part in the ardas (prayer), followed by a path (recitation) of the Guru Granth Sahib (the Sikh holy scripture). Following this, visitors can perform paath (recitation) in a smaller hall, and then partake in a santhya (reading) and satsang (discussion) of the scriptures. At the end, they will perform aarti (singing of hymns) and then bid farewell to the Guru Granth Sahib.
