The popular Worship Method of the Bala Tripura Sundari Temple in Sarahan, Himachal-Pradesh is "Puja". The term 'puja' is derived from the Sanskrit word 'poojana', meaning 'to offer worship'. The worship of Goddess Bala Tripura Sundari is done in the form of rituals, offering of flowers, burning of incense, ringing of bells, chanting of mantras and offering of food items. The devotees pay homage to the Goddess by performing an elaborate Puja. The Puja starts with the chanting of appropriate mantras and chanting of hymns within the Temple. After the completion of chanting, flowers are offered to Goddess Bala Tripura Sundari. Incense and camphor are then lit and offered as an obeisance to the Goddess. Prasad and other offerings are then presented to the Goddess either through the priest or directly placed before her.
