History:

St. Joseph's Church In Lithuania was built in 1617 with construction beginning in 1742 and completed in 1746. Originally founded by Lithuanian king Stanislaw August, the church was redefined in 1800 with the addition of a classicist facade. During the communist era, the church was used for other purposes and the aisles of the remaining building were used as warehouses. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Lithuania.
