History:
is located in a village in Kosovo called Gjakovë/Đakovica. It is a Catholic church and belongs to the Latin Archdiocese of Prizren. The church was built in 1944 by Carmelite Missionaries. The present pastor in charge of the church is Father Savino Gabotto from Italy and is appointed by Prizren Archbishop Francis Assisi–Chullikatt. There is a beautiful Baroque-style altar from 1854, as well as a painting of St. Christopher that dates back to 1775. It is one of the best churches in Kosovo which you must visit.
