P. C. E. A. Kirigiti Church In Kenya: History,Facts, & Services
The Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Kirigiti Church in Kenya is a mainline Protestant church and one of the largest Christian denominations in the country. It has more than a million members and over 600 local congregations throughout the country. The church was established in 1902 by the Church of Scotland Missionary Society and promotes a moderate Evangelical theology. It seeks to provide church members with educational, medical, pastoral, and socio-economic services. The denomination is divided into twelve presbyteries, each containing multiple congregations. It is based in Nairobi and its current leader is Reverend Dr. Joseph Muchai.
