The worship method of the Sheshyar Temple is a mixture of Vedic and Tantric rituals. Each day, worshippers offer poojas consisting of Mantras, Homa or fire offering, and oblations. Morning rituals begin with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra followed by the chanting of Vedic mantras and the offering of food to the deity. Once the morning rituals are completed, the worshippers then wrap a special red cloth around the presiding deity, signifying the beginning of the day's worship. After puja, devotees offer money, jewels and other items in donation for the temple. In the evening, worshippers recite mantras, perform homas and offer food, flowers, fruits, incense, and lamps.
